TRUSSQUANT
Construction Inventory Management
Last updated: July 14, 2026
TRUSSQUANT (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a construction and trade tool/material inventory tracking platform (the “Service”), available as a web application and a mobile app, for contractor businesses (“Customers”) and their employees or authorized users (“Users”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at digital@brilworks.com.
Account information — your name, email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider, never in plain text), and the role your company assigns you within the Service.
Business and operational data— records your company creates or generates while using the Service: the asset/tool/equipment/material catalog, transaction history (check-outs, check-ins, transfers, consumption, and restocking), locations, categories, and project information. This data belongs to and is controlled by your employer’s company account.
Photos— optional photos you choose to attach to a transaction (for example, to document an item’s condition). These are stored securely and linked to that transaction record.
Push notification token — if you enable notifications on Android, we store a device token used solely to deliver alert notifications (such as low-stock or overdue-item alerts) to your device.
Camera access — used only to scan QR/barcode tags and to capture the optional condition photos described above. The app does not access your camera or photo library at any other time.
Locally-cached data (mobile) — to support offline use in the field, the mobile app stores a local copy of relevant company data, and any transactions you log offline, directly on your device. This syncs to our servers once your device reconnects and is not shared with any third party directly from the device.
We do not collect precise device location/GPS data, and we do not use advertising identifiers, third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, or tracking cookies.
We use the information above to operate the Service — authenticating you, displaying and syncing your company’s inventory data, powering the scanning, transaction, alerting, and reporting features described in the app — to deliver alert notifications you or your company have enabled, to provide customer support, and to maintain the security and integrity of the Service.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us run TRUSSQUANT, under terms that limit their use of it to providing services to us:
Other users within your own company account can see the business data (assets, transactions, locations) associated with that company, as appropriate to their role — that shared visibility is core to how the Service works. We do not share your data with other, unrelated companies using TRUSSQUANT.
We retain your account and business data for as long as your company’s account remains active, or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us (Section 9); your company’s administrator may also independently manage or remove your account.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access controls, and secure on-device credential storage — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can review and correct your account information within the app, control camera and notification permissions through your device settings at any time (notifications are optional, and a manual entry option is available if camera access is declined), and request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
TRUSSQUANT is a business tool intended for use by adult employees of contractor companies. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age.
